BOOK Get lost in an exciting world of creativity as you craft your own three-dimensional biome using a mix of art materials like spray foam, cardboard, yarn and embellishments. Add a menagerie of modeling clay creatures to fill your world and create opportunities for play and interaction after the project is complete. It’s your chance to design, build and let your imagination run wild. Artists will use multi-media techniques to create a three-dimensional biome and creatures.
Create a miniature biome collage using a variety of materials.
Imagine diving into the natural world, but on a tiny, whimsical scale. Students will create their very own miniature biome packed in a small container. Using colorful papers, drawing and collage to make a biome unique.
Use simple shapes to draw and paint your own creature on canvas. Add extra details with painted paper to make your creature pop right off the canvas. Use rounded shapes to create a realistic animal or blocky shapes to create a pixelated creature, straight from a video game.
